Wendy Way's Fiber Ways - Needlework Arts, Wearables and Instruction
Thanks for visiting!

I am an artist and instructor.  I create unique pieces with a variety of natural and synthetic fibers.  By combining traditional techniques with contemporary themes, and drawing on my inner magpie for inspiration, I satisfy the need to touch and hold beauty in our increasingly 'virtual' world.  I use my own hand spun and hand dyed yarns to weave, knit and tat lace scarves, shawls, hats, gloves, wall hangings and jewelry.

I also offer instruction in these techniques.  My next class will be instruction in tatting.  Tatting is a method of producing lace that is strong and yet delicate.  A variety of materials can be used in varying fibers, from thread to bulky yarn to 'upcycled' plastics and beads.  Please see the events page for details.

As my online presence evolves, I will be updating this site frequently with photos of my work and a listing on Etsy.  Please check back for these updates.
